On Tuesday night, Texas Alliance for Life executive director Joe Pojman praised the state Supreme Court’s new rules for judicial bypass applications, saying in a statement, “The Texas Supreme Court has faithfully implemented House Bill 3994 in a way that will best protect the well being of minor girls.”

H.R. 3762 would cut off nearly 90% of the federal funds that go to Planned Parenthood — about $400 million! This is a special kind of bill called a “reconciliation bill” that CANNOT BE FILIBUSTERED in the U.S. Senate. The U.S. House passed it on October 23.

On that same 990 tax form, Empower Texans reported spending $256,755 on marketing with a firm called Local Voice Solutions in Longview. The group also spent $364,102 with Vici Media Group, a company known for creating attack websites like the one used to go after Texas Alliance for Life Executive Director Joe Pojman last year.
