On Saturday, January 27, 2024, thousands of pro-life Texans from around the state traveled to the Capitol in Austin to celebrate the ending of Roe v Wade and to communicate to Texas legislators and the media that Texas is and will remain a pro-life state.
Over 20 buses were organized to bring groups from cities around Texas to participate in the annual event, made possible through the efforts of over 60 host committee organizations.
The Texas Rally for Life is an annual event commemorating the Supreme Court’s tragic Roe v. Wade decision that imposed legal abortion on Texas and the nation throughout all nine months of pregnancy. We celebrated the overturning of the terrible precedent set in 1973 at this year’s event while acknowledging we must continue the work of supporting moms and babies as we turn the tide on this injustice.

Abortion Survivor Claire Culwell emceed the 2024 Texas Rally for Life, where she had the opportunity to share her story. She also recognized attending legislators, elected officials, and the over 60 Host Committee organizations who partnered to make this event a success.
His Excellency, Most Reverend Joe Vásquez, Bishop of Austin, led the invocation.
40 Days for Life Director of Medical Affairs and Education and Former Abortionist Dr. Haywood Robinson shared about his life transformation from one who performed abortions to a passionate protector of life.
Charlotte Lozier Institute VP and Dir. of Medical Affairs Dr. Ingrid Skop, M.D., FACOG, a practicing OB/GYN in the state of Texas familiar with the harm abortion causes women and the clarity of Texas pro-life laws, shared this message.
Jana Pinson, the Pregnancy Center of the Coastal Bend Executive Director, spoke about the lasting impact the support offered at their center locations has on moms and babies across the region.
Trisomy 18 Mom, Pro-Life Educator, and Activist Jacquelyn Smith Mth, spoke about her beautiful daughter Gemma, who was diagnosed with Trisomy 18 before birth.
TAL Executive Director, Dr. Joe Pojman highlighted that Texas pro-life laws are protecting women and babies, but we can’t sit back and think our work is done.
Students for Life Texas Regional Coordinator (OK/TX) Faith Elwonger has experience with what pro-life students face on college campuses and the success of their outreach efforts to protect life.
Senior Pastor of Faith Outreach Center, International (FOCI) Bishop Charles Flowers gave the closing remarks and prayer at the 2024 Texas Rally for Life.
